WHAT A WORD FROM GOD CAN DO
Words are powerful. Scripture, plainly and thoroughly explains the potential in which words carry. Words communicate; they love, they hate, they unite they divide, they bring joy, they create sorrow – should I continue? Words create moods and influence actions. I have heard it said that the most powerful force on the face of the earth is not weapons, technology or money, rather a person with a microphone.
God created the universe by speaking. God formed words and spoke them… “GOD SAID let there be…” And when God created humanity, He created us in His own image. Therefore, he rendered to us the ability to create with words. Since our creation, we’ve had the ability to speak and create. We create our own “worlds.” We form our own environments by the words we speak and the words we hear. That is why hearing a word from God is exceptionally important and continuing to speak what we heard is even greater.
If I ever had a “KARIOS MOMENT,” I had one last night. It appeared to be happenstance… Missionaries we support, Richard and Modesta Betancourt, asked me if I would meet Bishop Isaakah Wawire from Kenya. He was visiting friends and family in Miami on his way to Oklahoma to visit with his son who was in college. We visited until the time arrived for my weekly meeting with our leadership. I asked if he would share from his heart to our leadership. WOW! What a timely word! He released a timely, PROPHETIC WORD into the core of our leadership. It was a word from God that gave instructions, confirmed, encouraged and ignited potential in the life of our leadership.
Yes, words are powerful, but combined with God’s prophetic utterance they become even more prevailing. There is nothing created in our universe stronger than a word spoken by God. It never returns void! A word from God will change the outcome of any situation. I believe that is what happened yesterday – I am so encouraged and excited!
Anxious to read your thoughts,
Pastor Manny

A word spoken in due season. I too experienced the same jolt of encouragement that re-ignited Godly passions that I have left dormant for a while.
I understand the importance of commitment, but there is nothing like doing a duty voluntarily, in anticipation of a reward that cannot be quantified, because it’s really priceless.
The saying that ‘There is no place like home’ comes to mind for me now, and my heart is filled with joy knowing that I am a part of a church where the Holy Spirit visits, and calls our house his home.
Thank you for coming once again Holy Spirit. Thanks for speaking through your servant.
” However, when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you all things to come” John 16: 13

Well this one is good I think that every word that you hear from God you need to study it and let it come inside you. last night It was powerful because the lord was there and whatever you was going through you didn’t feel it anymore. The word of God it can change your life forever.

I cannot express the extent to which the word on last night brought both confirmation, encouragement and enlightenment. It was truly powerful and prophetically engineered. It hit me in my spirit!! I know that God is working so diligently in the lives of his people. It has been HARD, but we will have this victory also!

I agree with you Pastor Manny, words are powerful and a word from God himself is even more powerful. I know for a fact that what Bishop Isaakah Wawire said to me was from God. In my own heart, I told God that I was beginning to doubt that my dreams would ever come true. I didn’t dare speak the words, because I know how powerful words are and part of me still believed and didn’t want to speak cursed words. Bishop Isaakah Wawire’s words from God to me were don’t stop dreaming, keep dreaming big dreams, they will come to pass. Like Pastor, I am also encouraged and full of faith!

Im so excited along with you. From the first word spoken to the last word heard I felt the anointing last night like heat radiating from a fire. The man of God heard from the Lord and truly was obedient. How wonderful to know that God almighty has given us a name by which we are to be called. MHC is living out what God has spoken. Im so proud to be a part of a wonderful family.

Awesome Pastor, I am disappointed that I missed last nights meeting. But prayer tonight I believe was powerful. It started a bit draggy but as you started to speak it created a momentum that bulldozed over the enemy. I believe we were not able to be contained tonight. The forward movement of this church can not be stopped if we continue to speak and declare the Word of God over our church and region. MHC reminds me of a freight train, it takes time to build up momentum but as it gets going it is unstoppable as it destroys anything that is in its way. As we have built momentum, we must continue moving at full speed ahead, and what we declare with our mouths will power through any attack of the enemy and any opposition.

Words from God are awesome. I know there has been times in my life when I was tired and discouraged and then God gave me a word that helped turn my attitude around. May we stick to the words that God gave us and not loose faith or sight of our purpose and destiny.

Words are so powerful, it creates and build the environment. Words as you say in the blog motivates, encourages, destroy, builds. The Word of God is active and is always speaking, we just have to be silent and listen. He wants to create with us.
I was with the kids when Bishop Isaaka was preaching, but I will listen to the CD. Its so powerful and excited the moment in time that MHC is at. Wow can’t wait to see what God has store for us. And finally we have to push forward by demanding and not begging, we are heirs of the king, we must act like it if not God will not listen to us, He is not move by need but by faith.

Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof”.
We must speak to our circumstances words of life and refrain from words of death. Far too often we refer to Miami as ‘the preacher’s grave yard’ of which we must refrain.
We must rise up and claim this region as the preachers land of victory! Speak Life into our circumstances! Speak life into Miami!

I was not present on Monday night but the word I have heard on the CD was powerful. The message was very encouraging and up lifting. He has confirmed everything the Lord has been speaking to MHC. This has been a challenging year but I am exciting and eagerly waiting the manifestation of what the Lord is going to do in my life personally and corporately.

What’s in a name? Prophetically I saw the region of Miami Dade freeze to a stand still to hear a word from God. The Lord showed me traffic jam on I-95 as far as the road spanned from north to south. Traffic stopped dead in its track with people coming out of their cars, not in frustration, but almost to leave it on the spot just to hear the Word of God. I saw stadiums and arenas frozen in time and space and the games that took everyone’s attention halted and all eyes were on God. School children were attentive to hear. I saw the earth moving beneath the feet of the population of Miami Dade and God’s people literally broke into millions of pieces, and carried by were deposited into the spirit of non-believers. People from everywhere were seeking God.
Shortly thereafter Pastor Manny announced that MHC’s new name is “Sought After”. He who has an ear to hear let him hear. Do your part and be used mightily in your generation for the Kingdom of God.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What a Word that was recieved as a Church on Monday night. You know it is God when he uses a man to give a timely word to his people. A man that came to visit with family and friends but on a mission to release a word to MHC. When Bishop Isaakah Wawire started explaining about the name of Benjamin being the right hand of God and then when he stated the Word “Breakthrough” it caused a fresh fire to burn inside of me. Last week in the blogs we read and mediated on breakthrough that will cause a breakout. I truly believe we are in that season.

I believe that the visit of Bishop Isaka was appointed by God. The word that he delivered was just amazing. Which we need to hear over and over again. I am so excited for what God is doing in my life and in the life of MHC. I received a word of confirmation and I reminder of what God is calling me to do. We are in a great season!!!

Bishop Wawire’s word was awesome confirmation for our church. There is always so much more than what you think. It’s extremely encouraging to know you’re on that staight path and that those obstacles that hit you lead you to opportunites.

The word was prophetic and very clear to Miami Harvest Church. I beleive this is the time for MHC to crank up the gear on momentum and not allow the enemy to distract our focus. It has been made very clear to all of us that we are where we belong. We are reaching the top and their is no time to look down. In fact their is no way we can go back.
It is time to press on and understand that if we ever had been through resistance in our life, now we will encounter much more resistance. This is a vital time in MHC life. A time for breakouts. The message was prophesiced last year and this year a confirmation. It is time for a mirracle; it is time for a breakthrough; it is time to die in flesh and live in Christ.

WOW!!! Very powerful were the words of Bishop Isaka! I will never forget that I have a new name and whatever it is that people want to see me as, it doesn’t matter that is not who I am! When he said to me “the past is gone,” it stirred something inside of me to start a new adventure, new season, new perspective, and a new life. It is time for a BREAKTHROUGH!!!

Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Words do create moods and influence actions. For instance, when your spouse whispers sweet words to you, a loving mood is created, but when a dispute arise and unfavorable things are said, a cold, negative mood is created. Words are powerful and can significantly affect our lives.
God used Bishop Isaakah in a mighty way. The revelation of obstacles = opportunities, and our Father God giving us a new name despite what we have been previously called, stood out so strong and was very encouraging.

I truly believe Monday night was a “kairos” moment for our Church….here was a man who spoke in obedience to God’s voice and brought a word of encouragement and confirmation to us.
Absolutely, God’s Word will not return to Him void and He will watch over His Word to perform it….and we as believers must continue to speak LIFE into this region!! Like a mother birthing her child, we must continue to push against all odds and not give up at our point of breakthrough!!

What a word from God can’t do?
God’s words will always produce results. With us humans being, though, in order to the word generate anything we need to be able to hear. After hearing we will need to decide if we will obey or not. Obeying demonstrate faith, which move God to do what He said.
Therefore our ability to hear is as important as God’s word itself. If we can’t hear we can’t believe it, if we can’t believe God can’t move…
Rom 10:17 Then faith is of hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

The right word at the right time can forever change a life. Last nights word was incredibly timely and powerful for the life of our leadership, church and individuals. We must continue to listen to it until it gets in us and stirs a change from the inside out.

I agree Pastor, the word that was spoken to our leadership and church was not only powerful but also very much on-time and needed. I can’t express how truly excited I am over what God is doing within each of our lives and our church.
Knowing that God’s word can change the outcome of any situation, we must continue to speak His word over our lives, our church and also over our region.

I dont know if words can explain what happened Monday night. All I can say is that I could not shut up on the way home. I was making corelations with the word spoken that evening and every word spoken to this house in the last year. It is amazing how God always stays on task. Cant wait to see what else He has instored!

That monday word, for me was in a right moment, when i need a a sign how i was doing in my ministry… and POW, he just told me what, how and where should i start my ppreparation, or my improvement in my walk in Christ.
Just a word can break wall, a word can say lives, a right word can change a live forever. I truthly believe that Bishop Isaka came in a right time when we need to push the throttle a little more.

Last night was an awsome night. Bishop Isaka gave a powerful word. MHC has a new name and that is Sought After. God is doing something amazing in our mist and I am very happy to be a part of it. We will make a difference in this community and region.

Is. 55:11 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
What a timely word MHC received. A word that will change lives. Let’s keep momentum and be faithful with what God has put in our hands.

Bishop Isaakah Wawire delivered a powerful word last night. He spoke directly to the heart of our team. It was a timely word which continues to strengthen what God has been doing and speaking in our Church.

It’s always a blessing to hear a word from God, especially when it is a specific word just for you. To get a personalized message from God that gives you hope and direction is encouraging. Bishop Isaakah Wawire confirmed the word spoken over me continuously that God is planning to use me in a big way.
Shaka on November 2nd, 2009
Very encouraging words form Bishop Isaakah! I needed to hear this word. A breakthrough is on it’s way for our church and personal lives. We need to keep pushing and move forward and we will see miracles happen.

Definitely Bishop Isaka was on point, God spoke through him in a time such as this for MHC. It was a refreshing word and a confirmation of God’s direction to MHC.
gjstfhill on November 2nd, 2009
Bishop Isaakah’s visit was indeed an appointed visit to our leadership By God. It was an on time word.
We certainly need to stop calling this region a preacher’s graveyard and we need to start speaking life over this region to create a difference, a victorious region for the Kingdom.
Andy on November 2nd, 2009
Very Timely word, a reminder that not only will we receive what we have declared to be, but also more, even the things that look impossible will be given to us. Gods Word keeps us going, it’s a reminder that God has a plan in the middle of the chaos, and in your victory He lets you know where to go next, not only personal but corporately.
Melram on November 2nd, 2009
Bishop’s word was right on point; we must review the word so it may stay fresh in our hears. God’s word will not come back void. It is exciting to hear of the things that are to come for MHC!
Johnny on November 2nd, 2009
Monday’s word was encouraging, prophetic and instructional. It could have not come at a better time. I believe our challenge as leaders is to not simply dissect but apply. Gods word will accomplish that in which it has been set forth to do. We must accept the challenge to be the ones in which it is performed through.

Monday night was very necessary for me. Sometimes you just feel like your doing things to do them and you are striving to be passionate, striving to be something you are not. You act one way but feel another. And, Monday night God reminded me of my value and worth. It’s really easy to see all the negative things you are, for the negative words to ring in your mind everyday… its easy to let those things define you. Monday night was a reminder for me of who I really am. It was easy, and not an act. And I felt His presence again like I hadn’t in so long. In such a way that a new strength, a new wind took over every thought of depression, or anger, or annoyance. It was very good for me. Though I knew I had been in the wrong on many things… God reminded me in such a loving way that night of who I am. It wasn’t one of those kick in the butt meetings, it was “daddy loves daughter” meeting and it really meant a lot to me.

That was an amazing word. And thank you for the Cd’s, I wouldn’t have been able to hear it all, cause my note taking skills just weren’t fast enough to keep up with him. He shared a wonderful word and I pray that we see him again.

I had to work and I am so sorry I missed leadership, but you are so right! I thank God that we serve a god who still speaks to us! I don’t know what I would do without the words I have received from HIM! It’s amazing what one word from Him can do! It was so amazing to see how encouraged and refreshed my son was after receiving that word on Monday! God is so faithful!
DEWSM on November 2nd, 2009
Wow, Monday’s meeting was absolutely incredible!! What a right on time word and flowing exactly with what you had been talking about in the blogs the last week. I am pumped ready and excited as God is continuing to prepare and position us personally and corporately for breakthroughs!!

we must continue to push. We will give birth to the promise over this house.

That word spoken on Monday was great and it needs to get inside of all of us. The words spoken individually to people somehow seem to relate back to the very word spoken to the vision a few minutes prior. The scriptures that was use to prophesy the word was Genesis 35:16-18 which talked about Rachel giving birth. The midwife that was with Rachel said to her that she was going to have another son. As she gave that birth to that son she named him Benoni (son of my sorrow), but his father called him Benjamin (son of the right hand). Our name is Benjamin, not Benoni. That main concept was evident in some of the words I heard prophesied individually and that needs to be applied into our lives. This message is still getting inside me and I need to totally catch this word.
